A 65 year old man with acute chest pain has ST segment elevation in ECG leads V2 to V4 and an elevated serum Troponin level. His BP is 180/102mm Hg in the right upper limb and 148/96mm Hg in the left upper limb. The radial pulse on his left side is weaker than the radial pulse on his right side. His X-ray chest shows mediastinal widening.
Is he a candidate for thrombolytic therapy with Streptokinase?
